How long did you wait to determine it won't shut off? Your car might be overheating and the fan is doing what it is supposed to do. If you are sure that is not the problem, start thinking about a faulty relay or fan thermostat (not the one in the engine, the one in the radiator).

I licked the problem last night, it reset itself after about an hour. I think the fan thermostat must be on the fritz, because the car definately wasnt overheating - cold air was blowing from the heater vents, it wasnt warmed up at all yet.
Must be something to do with my accident I assume... |

Oh, that's right, your front-end was crunched. That is definetly your problem then.

its called Delay Relay, its faulty, common problem, to solve ur problem disconnect it and it wont stay on after u shut off ur car, but the 10 minute timer fan wont come on if the temp is higher than a certain temp when u shut off the car. the delay relay is bigger than other relays, its like double the size of normal relays, theres 2 connections on it on it disconnect one at a time until the fan stops.

Thanks everyone, I havent had a problem with it since then, but now I know for future incidents... I have a feeling since I didnt replace any parts, this problem will come back to haunt me. At least I know where to look now.
