Those are the new tires I got on my Oldsmobile Intrigue. They are V rated! That's means they can handle 149mph...
Anyways, that's not the main reason I got them...
First of all, I read some reviews on Tire Rack and one guy said he drove through 4" of snow with no problem....and since I live in Michigan, this was a big plus.
They are a performance all-season tire, so they are meant to handle the wet, snow covered, and dry roads. First thing I noticed when driving home with them on the freshly snowed on roads was that I had much more control...and the LOW TRAC didn't come on at all! On dry roads, the ride also seems much smoother (previous tires were some Goodyear RS-As). Next up, wet roads (yes, this is all recent weather.... crazy Michigan), when I accelerate from a stop light on a wet road, I no longer squeel my tires out when I go....so my start time is quicker (not like I'm racing or anything )....
Overall, these tires have some awesome traction and really grip the road well....yet they also provide a smooth and quiet ride.
That's my review on the Continental ContiExtremeContact tires.

| I've got the factory performance RSA's on the alero and they are good in the snow we had 10" and I was able to drive all 25 miles to work on unplowed streets. Only after I got back home after work did I learn that it was a level 3 snow emergency and could have been arrested for driving both to and from work! i never got stuck anywhere not even in the 4"-5" areas where i had to park. i imagine the intrigue would be good too. what did they cost you and what tire size are they? |

The RS-As were terrible on my car....
I went to Belle Tire, they had to special order the tires. They were $130 each....225/60VR16
