I may have not mentioned this before on here so I will now. I live in a pretty poor town where most people drive non-high performance cars, thus mechanics at non dealerships have no idea how a supercharged 3.8 works. Thus when they hear a noise in the belt assembly they AUTOMATICALLY assume it is at odd looking thing on top of the motor because that looks like it could break or whatever.

Example being acording to CarFax there are only 2 transmissions compatible with this car in the state of idaho at salvage yards, both $750 and that is a used tranny with unknown maintence record.

The shop said it was a bad supercharger, installed a new one from a low miles 95 park avenue ultra and when the problem was still there. Keep in mind it is NO SMALL TASK removing these things right. so they gave her the old one and left the new one in the car for just the cost of labor and the cost to fix the real problem, a $10 supercharger belt tensioner pulley LOL.

I went to the DMV today and they would not transfer the title since the car was sold for $4500 last year and it was too far below market value, therefore I need to come up with a letter from the seller on why it was sold for so cheap and a written estimate from a dealership or I pay $270 sales tax on it...no not going to happen.

If that supercharger sells for the BIN I will have a 100% free car that dumps ATF out. I had to jump on this one.
