Anyone out there try those (I believe Alpine makes one) of AUX type connectors that will charge your iPod and be able to switch back/forward and FF and R of songs through the standard car stereo buttons?
What about some of those iPod receivers that have that stuff already built in? |

The Alpine unit is for a Alpine head unit. So if you plan to get an Alpine unit, then by all means. I have heard they work great....haven't used one myself because I don't have an iPod. Eclipse also has one, which are highly regarded as best sounding head units, for sane prices. Clarion also has a unit.

good question... made me think about an old project of my own. Does anyone know how Kenwood makes thier cd changer interface? I specifically want to know if I can use the cd changer interface to import low level sound into my deck from my computer. I hate broadcasting at 94.1FM....
So, does anyone have data sheets for the pinouts for kenwood cd changers? |

88delta88: I'll keep an eye out....what model is the changer and head unit? I wouldn't doubt if there is an adapter for the head unit to have auxiliary RCA inputs...
