My plans totally changed, before I was going to use the 9Kv.2, but now I'm selling that. I am going to use CDT Audio speakers and subwoofers, and Blaupunkt Class T amplifiers.
I just ordered 1 CDT Audio 12" EF Series Subwoofer, it's a prototype, no one else will have one for a while.... It has a carbon fiber cone and it's supposed to have some awesome SQ. This will go in the trunk.
I also just ordered 2 CDT Audio 8" EF Series midbass/subs. These ones. The 12" looks exactly like those, except bigger and it plays lower (of course). These will go in front, in front of the seats in a custom fiberglass enclosure.
Then, these will go in the stock locations in the doors. CDT Audio 5.25" Slim EF Series component set. Still need to order this.
I will be using the stock Bose headunit, using a PAC AOEM-GM32 to utilize its preouts to hook up the amps. The amps will be: the Blaupunkt PA275 (already have), to power the front component set. 2 Blaupunkt PA2150s to power the front midbass and the subwoofer.
Should sound pretty sweet.

well... have you got the boxes built yet??? I wanna see it all put together! ;-) Are you going to have a video of your system blowing the clothes off some (preferrably very hot) girls sitting in the front seats? :-) that'd be a sight to see!

no...no enclosures have been built yet. This won't exactly be a system to blow clothes off, only about 900wrms to everything (comps, midbass, sub).

just buggin you brando, I know you just got the woofers. but they look very nice indeed. SQ over SPL this time? I've come to the conclusion that a system that sounds GOOD is much, much more challenging to construct than a system that sounds LOUD! But its also much more pleasing to listen to after the fact aswell!

well....I would say both are equally challenging.
To exceed 170db is quite an accomplishment....of course you can't listen to it without earplugs...so what's the point?
Sound Quality is where it is at for me....

At some point, someone is going to build a car stereo that outputs so much SPL that its going to make a rip in the space/time contiuum and they'll step out of thier car into the 1800's or something ;-) back to the future pt.4...

Hi Brando, hello All,

A question about this one.
Pic is close for detail, but too close to show placement. Is it in the door, kick panel, pillar, or somewhere else?

If you look at this one:
You'll see it's part of the door panel, you can see it's by the side view mirror in this picture:
