Hi Guys,
I'm glad I found this forum. First of all, I should admit I don't have an Olds (yeah it says 84 Cutlass on my profile, but I had to put in something to register). But I do have a question that only true Olds enthusiats could answer, so I'm hoping someone in this group will be kind enough to share their knowledge.
I need to know the year make and model of an Olds that has a diesel engine AND has a front bench seat. I'm hoping for something from the 80's. I know there's a diesel Toronado, don't know if it has a bench seat. I know there's Cutlasses w/bench seats, but don't know if any models are diesel.
Any help here will be greatly appreciated.

| I dont have any helpful information for you, but I pose a question instead... If you dont mind me asking, why would you want to find a diesel powered olds with a bench seat? |

I don't need to get my hands on one, I just need to know if they exist. It's for a story I'm writing. Three people need to sit together in the front seat, and the car needs to be diesel. And I want to be accurate with the make and model, not just make something up.
If anyone can tell me if a diesel Olds with a bench seat was ever made, I'll be so happy. :D |

In 1978 a 350 cubic inch diesel engine was available on all Delta 88, Ninety-Eight and Custom Cruiser models and continued on into 1985 I believe..all had bench seats standard.
1979 to 1985 Toronado had diesel, buckets seats were optional, bench seats were standard.
