Hey i was at this site for vertical doors, goes up like a lambourghini style kinda, in order for them to make a custom kit for a specific car, they need at least a minimum of 10 orders of same make model and roughly the same year. It will be $1600US for each car quite alotta money i know...but just a idea to make Team Olds different...

Cool idea.... wouldn't work for my car, but It would look cool on an 80's or 90's Delta or ciera.

Very cool offer... Although I dont think we could get 10 people with the same car to agree on this forum! I can just picture that on my car, and that would look so cool in a mall parking lot - getting out of your car with style...

And those jokers who park 2 inches away from you wont bother you anymore - because you need zero clearance (well your door does anyways).

We can always dream....

Yea...I don't think I can really spend $1600 to do something like that....but do you mean gullwing style or the scissor style doors?

If you mean like this:
http://autoloc.com/products/lambo.lasso
Then I don't really think that would look too great on my olds...and 88delta88, you would still need a little clearance to get in! :P

Eh...just watched the movie they got on the site there...looks dumb to me...you have to open the door basically all the way as you normally would, then I guess it's power switched or something and it lifts it up and down, then you gotta close it manually....looked kinda cheap actually

The Split hood would be kinda cool though... http://autoloc.com/detail.lasso?itemid=sphood

i have looked into is converting my car's hood to open the other way like a LeSabre. i have looked into swapping hinges and the latch, looks like it is possible with a little effort. it would look cool and working from only the sides isn't too bad with the exception of replacing a radiator.

Have you guys seen those guys who build the boxes on thier trucks that spin in circles, and lift up and down and tilt? Now thats cool. Utterly useless, but cool nonetheless.

from my point of view i have done this before suicide doors too
lambo doors no matter how strong you make it never ever seal the right way
suicde doors either
waste of money in my opinion
and it`s allot allot work the kit is just brackets they don`t mention everything else that has to be done
1,600 would and is goin to air suspension
