Hey everyone,

im looking for a lowering kit for my 1992 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight Royale 3.8L FWD. ive searched all different manufacturers and it seems like no one makes a lowering kit for the Eighty Eight. althought i have seen some rides with a kit on the net, they dont mention what type of kit they used...

Any leads as to what i should look into?

Cheers!

looked into the search link 88 Coupe sent and found some interesting facts/ideas...

just wondering if anyone has successfully installed lowering springs on a delta 88 (92 or newer preferrably, but any posts will be great!)

thanks

All comments you read in those posts will apply to any car with coil springs, not just yours.

The installation process would be no different than any Brand X, except the lower spring height can make the installation easier in some cases.

They may or may not be dimensionally different. The best way to find out is to measure them. Try your local J/Y.

While you are there, you can also do it the easy way. Find a car like your own, buy the springs, have them cut by someone who knows what he is doing, install them in your car, then enjoy your lowered Olds. If for some reason, you don't like it lowered, put the originals back in.
