I guess it's my turn to indtroduce myself. My name is Carl, and I am a graduate student at Ball State University in the absolutely amazing city of Muncie, Indiana. I have been the happy owner of a 1993 Olds Ninety-Eight Regency Elite since November of 05. The circumstances that made me purchase the car were tragic (the Camaro got broken into and totalled), but I haven't ever regretted buying it. :D The car never ceases to amaze me; It can haul people, haul huge amounts of stuff, and just recently I had a hitch installed that allows it to haul my jet ski! My 98 will have 187,000 miles on it by tomorrow (it's really close today) and still runs beautifully. I am happy to have found a site that brings those of us who appreciate these amazing vehicles together. My great-grandfather worked for Oldsmobile for 27 years, so I have definitely had the chance to ride in a wide range of them because the family has had quite a few of them. I have a plethora of questions to ask, but I'll try to ask them in the forums in which they belong. I'm sure I'll talk to many of you soon!
