Hello All, I just purchased a 1996 Olds 88 or is it
Delta 88, all the markings say 88, I only seen the Title for a minute at the tags store and I think it said Delta, not sure.

Anyway it's a real beauty, one owner, 102,000 miles. Check engine lite came on after a long run today( 60 miles), then went off after a couple miles on the return trip, all I did was tighten the Gas cap inbetween trips.

Would like to get more familiar with it, got the owners manual. Is it worth the money to get the Factory Service Manual? I plan on doing whatever it needs. Guess I'm answering my own question. <G>

Anyway looking forward to learning all I can about this Baby.

ps. Whats with the Active X pop-up from Microsoft every time I open a page on the site? Thanks....Joe

Welcome to the site! Nice car you'vve got! I would recommend a factory service manual(s) if you can get your hands on some for cheap. They will always come in handy, if you plan to do work on it yourself.
