You're right Adam. Might as well. Since I had the radiator, cooling lines, and thermostat changed out not too long ago, and more recently, the freeze plugs during my transmission rebuild, it makes sense. In fact, you just confirmed what my mechanic recommended. I'll have to get a new water pump gasket as well. :wink:

I agree with ya, replace the pump while you are there, so you dont have to worry about it going out later. Some will say "run it till its broken", but I like preventing breakdowns.

Hum, I was actually right for once :lol:

Well, now i need to get off my lazy ass and do a timing chain (114,000 Miles now, don't know when it was/or if it was replaced...) and waterpump, crank sensor, etc, etc.. :(

I think 88cierra_SC is long gone, this post is from years ago... :-) I havent seen a post from the guy since he got into a quarrel with some guy about rice... too bad, kinda enjoyed his company.
