I own a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 2.5L I4 the body is in good shape except for the odd rust bubble, engine on the other hand needs some work, a bit of blow-by but the blow-by is expected somewhat for a car with close to 250,000 KM. But all in all it runs quite well, I've been doing most of the repairs myself....saves on the labor and markup from shops. I'm thinking of going to a junk yard and seeing if I can grab a low mileage engine for my car and then swap anything new from my engine over to that one. I just wish I had my own dyno. But anywho its awesome to be part of this place.

heh I forgot to mention I've got a kickin' Pioneer sound system in my car, gotta love seeing the headlights dim when the bass kicks in and yeah thats without sub woofer (and yes my battery is fine and brand new). Now heavy metal is OK for bass, I wonder how hip hop and R&B would sound it.

If your lights are dimming without a sub, you should check your alternator.
