| I've installed about 6 cd players so far into my cars. The last two or three had AUX inputs, so I thought I would use it and run an RCA cable that adapts into a regular headphone jack so I can plug my mp3 player to it. But every cd player I tried it with it did work, but I would have to turn the mp3 player and the radio all the way up to hear it, and even then it was weak. There a way to get around that? |

I always have my iPod turned all the way up when it's hooked up to the line input on my cd player... but I don't really have a problem with it being too quiet like that. Some cd players (one of mine, not both) have the option of adjusting the volume of each source. It might be worth looking into. Good luck!

| My kenwood mp3 deck had a great input, it was nice and loud. The input on the factory deck in my charger however, is a peice of crap. I have to crank my mp3 player, almost to the point of distortion, and then crank the deck also. A line driver may be the solution. |
