83 cutlass supreme brougham.......
bench seat or buckets?
reason for asking is that i really like the looks of the Hurst V-Matic 2 shifter.
never really liked column shifters except if it's a 3 on the tree

If you are asking if that shifter will work with a bench seat, the answer is yes.

i was asking if, asthetically speaking, a floor shifter would look better with the bucket seats as opposed to the 60/40 split bench that is in the vehicle now. basically i was asking a poll question without using the poll option.

lol to you too.
As for the actual question, it is your car, so whatever looks good to you, you should do. I would keep the 60/40, since it's already in the vehicle.

thanks for your take, brando.
has anyone ever heard of or seen buckets installed in this type of sedan before? i like to try to do things that are original, yet functional as well. i know i'll never have a completely original idea as far as vehicle interior design or what have you, but one can try, right?
thanks,

| go with the buckets bro. though the 60/40s nice with a column shifter, a floor shifter looks better between buckets in any car. i had an82 cutlass with 60/40s and swapped them out for regal t-type buckets and a b&m quickshifter and i would never take back that dicision. trust me |

| I like the seats that are in the cars, much more comfortable than buckets. And how you gonna get head with a shifter in the way? ;) |
