just came across this site... looks great! I've owned a '77 Cutlass S 442 for a decade now. She was my first car... and she'll be my last. Don't let my pics confuse you, she really is a '77.... I totaled the front end while in high school and all I could find were '76 grill inserts.... darn it. Anyway, just wanted to say hello... look forward to contributing...

Hi psu442, hello everyone,

Welcome to TOC.

You might want to consider editing your video.

Regards, Norm

Everyone:

So that no one is "left in the dark", the following is his answer (via PM) to the "heads up" I posted above, along with my response.

Posting this message as a PM, defeats the purpose of this message board?

Please post it in its proper place.
psu442: The only "problem" I am aware of, is that you posted in the wrong place.

Now that it has been corrected, what is the nature of the "problem" you asked about?

No thanks needed. It was easier to post it, than to write a lengthy explanation.

It has served its purpose, so I'll remove it.

Welcome to TOC, very nice Olds you have there, one much like it was featured in a Journey With Olds a few months back OCA JWO Cover.

"the problem" i was refering to was why you wouldn't want your license plate so visible in the first place? I always notice when it's blurred out in magazines, tv shows, etc and have often wondered why. Is it so people can't track down who owns the car, where they live, stuff like that?

85cieraholiday -- that '76 is gorgeous! love the blue, love the rims! thanks for posting. the magazine looks interesting. I didn't realize OCA put something out like that. I think I'll look into membership...

Yes.

And FWIW, the same can be done with your obsolete plates. It just takes one more step.
