Here it is again:

If someone was looking for information on vacuum leaks, do you think he/she would be looking in a thread named "307 heads"?

To elaborate on my previous answer: Not possible.
One might, on occasion, call attention to a stupid statement, but no one can ridicule a valid one.
And the earlier question, you did not answer? .

I asked the question because I do not know the answer.

Well, the reason why I replaced my vacuum hoses was because I saw it on a thread of another forum talking about how to make more power on a 307 and more power is what the creator of this thread wanted. I know that Im glad I saw that post on the other forum otherwise my vacuum hoses would really be holding me down.
About the rest of the things i said, well, I dont know much about port matching either and it seemed like a possibility. I thought that you did know port matching was possible and just put it in question form to make me look bad. Thats it. |

Why you changed them, has nothing to do with this thread. This thread is about 307 heads. It is in the performance section.
valley olds wrote: ........ of another forum talking about how to make more power on a 307 ........
Read it again, and see if that is what it actually said. If, in reality, it does say that, post the source, along with the actual quote, as part of a new thread in the performance section, so we can all learn from it.
In the meantime:
Vacuum hoses are a maintenance item. If someone was looking for information relating to vacuum leaks, and their symptoms, they would look in the "maintenance" section. It is where you should have started your new thread.
valley olds wrote: ........ Well, the reason and more power is what the creator of this thread wanted ........
Yes. More power than his car had when it left the factory. That is why this thread is in the performance section, instead of the maintenance section.
valley olds wrote: ........ I know that Im glad I saw that post on the other forum otherwise my vacuum hoses would really be holding me down ........
I am glad that you consider a normal maintenance item, a performance modification. Do us all a favor, and limit your posts, on TOC, to factual statements.

You already said that. Twice.
Here it is again:

When you read it again, you may have noticed, that, I did not ask what you thought.
This time, I will make it more clear.
How do you read sarcasm/hostility/arrogance/etc, into a statement where it does not exist?
There are several (if not many of us) that are interested in this phenomenon.

I think you might want to consider that suggestion yourself |

OK. Looks like you are unable to answer the question.
I can live with that.

Another excellent example of a BS statement.

I see you still can't follow your own advice because what you wrote there is an opinion |
