Can anyone suggest a good carb cleaner fuel additive for a car that has sit for a couple of years?

Instead of buying an additive, Just put fresh gasoline in the tank.

Use the money you saved, to buy a couple of Brewskis.

I was actually thinking of trying the additive because It sat for a couple years before I put it back on the road last year. Wondered if there maybe something gumming up inside the carb.

I am running out of ideas, since the vacuum checks out ok.

The "gum" you refer to, would be lacquer. Any commercial carb cleaner will be made up of some form of lacquer thinner.

If the "power valve" being discussed in the following link: http://www.oldsconnection.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=20585 is not moving freely, it is where you will use your carb spray.
