1986 Toronado-
15,924 were built as well as 864 exported models according to "Setting the Pace, Oldsmobile's first 100 years". Which options do you need? |

I honestly know nothing about the car except I love it! Rides, drives, handles, etc. great.
As far as options, I do not have a clue to what was available at the time. It is a 2 tone blue, all power - seats, locks, brakes, windows, antenna, etc, bucket seats-leather & lumbar support, console, overdrive, instrument cluster, voice inforamtion, sunroof, load level, "power" trunk, am/fm cassette, 3.8, SFI, lighted mirror.
I had considered selling the car and am not sure as to whether or it is something that would be considered "collectible" but it is something I want to have restored if for no other reason than for myself. Would post a pic but don't know how. It has no real body damage except for a ping or two, no rust to speak of, mostly needs interior such head liner, a door panel and drivers seat has tear in seam. The instrument cluster is goofy, needs repaired; the neutral safety switch need replaced and the windshield got cracked while sitting as it has not been driven in 5 years. |

| Well your in luck, I have the 1985 Oldsmobile Price and Specs Book (April 14,1986). I scanned the cover and the page of Toronado options for you but I dont know how to put a picture into the forum so I put it in the photo album. You can view them by clicking album at the top of the page and then going into my photos. |

Thanks for the help...I will check it out. Glad there was someone out there with the info.
Looks like mine will be restored and another one we found(stripped out) will be used to create a drag car for my husband. Wonder what he's going to do to it...sadly, it is nothing but a shell sitting on a frame and not one part I could use.
THANKS AGAIN!!! |
