hey raskull, i don't know if you're still looking into exhaust mufflers for your car or not, but if you are i'd say check out my cardomain page.

i have an 88 like yours, 'cept a few years newer. i custom did my exhaust. i cut off my stock muffler and attached a single-in dual-out flowmaster 80 series muffler on there and piped it back to some chrome tips. i think it looks tight...and it sounds really nice and deep too. if you're still looking for muffler ideas, i'd say that mine has to be close to the best that i've seen for our type of car; that's just my own opinion though. |

| This may be a little late, but on my car, I installed a cutout in between the catalytic converter and the muffler. I really like the deep sound my car's exhaust now makes. Dont really know about high RPM sound or sound on a V6 but I liked the sound on my 307 and have gotten plenty of compliments. Good thing is, If you dont like the sound or get tired of it, you just cover up the cutout and your car is silent again. |
