I am installing a Hurst Dual Gate Shifter into my '73 Cutlass Supreme. It already has the TH-400 3 spd. automatic with floor shifter/console.

Are the support brackets (installed on the floor) for the shifter the same as the existing support brackets on a '73?

Or do I need brackets specific for the Hurst Dual Gate shifter? (Taken from a '73 Hurst/Olds).
