Welcome to TOC

A 75 Toronado is a big heavy FWD car, so I guess it depends how you would define a "pretty fast car"

Do you know what kind of condition it's in?

A timeslip for that particular car will give you the perspective you need.

It's the printout from the timing system at your local drag strip. It shows ones elapsed time and terminal speed for the, just completed, ¼ mile pass.

It also contains a series of very useful numbers.

The implication was, that your low 13s were timed, and that you were familiar with the drill.

For a start, you could take your Toro to a commercial truck scale, to find out how much it weighs.

ive been to the race track but never messed with anything but racing... my friend was always with me and did that stuff... and my problem is i dont know if its running or not. and i dont really want to start working on it until i know what the potential is....i have the option of getting the toro and fixing it up or finding some old muscle car and working on that. though i havent decided yet...
