I'd like to see what the interior, particularly the door panels, looked like in a 1992 Ciera coupe.

This photo is from "96Monte_Carlo" Cardomain page, nice looking 1988 Ciera Coupe. Is this the same interior through the later years (89-92)

| olds did not make a 92 coupe. the last coupe was in 91 on a ciera s. that computer is a driver information system RPO U51. i installed one in my 88 cutlass supreme. |

Thanks for the model year clarification. Is the interior on the '88 the latest style? I'm having a hard time finding photos of late model could Cieras, quite rare it seems.
Thanks for the RPO code! Do you know what vehicles that unit came in, and what units other than the main cluster are needed to make it function? Seems like a really nice option if I can find it! |

| the driver information system started in 1988. in 88 it was available on the calais, ciera, delta 88, and ninety-eights. it was used mostly in the international model oldsmobiles. if you want to know if a specific olds could come with it i could probably find out. i have quite a few books. yes it is a very cool option to have. it requires nothing else to work and is very easy to wire in. it does only work on specific engines and you cannot (so i've been told) put a driver information system from one olds model into the other. example: you can't put a calais DIS into a ciera. to put a DIS into a ciera it had to come from a ciera. |
