| I found a set of blue olds rally wheels for my 83 Cutlass. Does anyone knows how much work, or cash, it would take to get all the paint, and some surface rust off to give them a full polished look? |

Most shops, at least around here, would charge you by the hour, so it depends on how much work it takes the person doing it, to do it. I know that really isn't what you are looking for, but with the information given, it's the best I can do.
Are you wanting them to be chrome? If so, look for capable shops- chromers are getting to be few and far between due to the environmental, and health risks associated with the chrome plating process. Not sure how it is in Canada.

if the wheels match the color of the car, I'd re paint them, and run as is.
I have a set of body color rally wheels on my 78 cutlass salon 4 door, I like the look of them :) |

Thanks for the posts. Yea, repainting them might be the way to go. I will have to call around to see what that would cost as well, as I imagine that isn't a job I could do myself.
Jeff: if you have any pics of your cutlass please put them up, I would love to see how those wheels look.
thanks
p.s. the rims with black center caps (are they all black?) are a $100. Is that a good deal? I'll need to get lug nuts. |
