the L67 is the series II supercharged, your based on the L36 which is the seires II N/A motor
the main thing different between the two are the heads, the L67 has ports for the injectors that go directly into the combustion chamber, the l32 has them spraying into the manifild just above the head port
i've had daydreams of my own, i was thinking of swapping the oldsmobile intrigues 3.5 twincam engine into my ciera, or the aurora 4.0 twincam v-8 then supercharging it....
eitherway, you would be better off just doing the L67 swap with the HD tranny and axles...it would save alot of headaches i have a 97 GTP coupe i swaped out the supercharger and run the cartuning performance 61 trim turbo innercooler kit on it now and it's running 11's reliably on pumpgas, with a built HD tranny Dynotech did all the work and tuning
so swapping that motor into your car, with the turbokit would definately give you "hard to beat" ass haulin power
the motor by itself with a few boltons is a tourque monster i produced 265HP with 411 WTQ on 9psi when it was still supercharged, with a VS compcams cam, LS6 valvesprings, 3.25 pulley, intake and exaust and a very nice tune, that was it so making power is definately not an issue lol you can probably pick an l67 up out of an SSEI, GTP, or regal GSX,buick ultra,or just find the riviera with the supercharged series 1 in a junkyard, or totaled auction for cheap although you can try looking for an impala SS but i doubt you would find one in a junkyard lol
www.milzymotorsports.com has conversion kits to swap any of the motors they have parts for into your car |

You are half right. Series I was also called L67.

Not even half right.
From the second post, in this thread:
91biuckman wrote: ........ Youre a 93 which is a series 1 L27 ........
One of the few times 91buickman was actually correct.
gptuner wrote: ........ you would be better off just doing the L67 swap ........
An unnecessary repeat of a previous post.
From the third reply, in this thread:
88 Coupe wrote: ........ Replacing your engine/trans with an L67 combo, is probably the cheapest/easiest to your goal. while keeping the same car.
Most practical choice, is to buy a car that already meets your needs, an L67, for instance ........
In the future, I suggest you read the entire thread, then do a search on the subject, before you resurrect a thread of this kind.
