| Would this be a G-body (RWD) by any chance or this a A body (FWD)?? I can help you if its a G body, just go to a junkyard and search. They came in most 442s, Hurst/Olds, and Salons. They also could be in normal Cutlasses and Cutlass Supreme. So basically they could be in any G-body |

| If the wood trim is the problem as far as the looks, you can buy them online. Also, if you want to do this conversion, you will need bucket seats that come with those cars |

| with a car that old, and going junkyard hunting, especially for a part that is somewhat rare, i think you should take what you can get. i'd try to find the best of the worst and clean it up a bit. i'd take out the top piece and make a new piece out of brushed aluminum, make it possible to put some gauges in it, and get a B&M T handle shifter. just my $.02. |

One problem you will run into is that a column shift car doesn't have the proper mounting holes for a center console. It may actually not have any mounting holes. So you will have to come up with a way to attach it.
Also, if it doesn't already have bucket seats you'll also have to install them obviously.
If you have a 60/40 split bench then the bucket seats would bolt right in with now problems. If you have the straight bench (no split) then it won't have the inner brackets next the transmission tunnel to bolt the seats too. In this case you would have to get into some fabrication to make them fit. |
