The past few days i noticed that my brakes were being less responsive. I assumed i needed new pads and that it could wait till i got back to school, but i went out for a quick drive to get some coffee today, and there was a big problem. The emergency brake light "BRAKE (!)" was on and the "door open with the keys in the ignition" sound was blaring the entire trip. The breaks were prob working at about 30% of what they use to, meaning that even if i got the car to stop it would still roll with full brakes. SOOOO i rode home with my foot on the e-brake just incase. When i got home, i let the car sit for awhile and checked the brake fluid reservoir which only had about half the capacity of the tank, and saw a nice little brown puddle when i pulled away from where the right rear tire use to be.
I didnt take a look at what exactly was going on, but its seems pretty obvious what the issue is.
Is there anyway i can temporarily fix this till i get back to NH tomorrow, or should i start looking for rides? |

Could be as simple as a broken brake line. If you have the proper facilities, crawl underneath to inspect. When you find the wet spot, you have found your leak.
Either way, good luck, and don't drive it until you get it fixed.
