So I've found my dream car!! I've wanted this car for a while now, since I've had my Oldsmobile at least. It's a Black, 1987 Cutlass Ciera 2 door International Series. Loaded! Leather, Power Windows, Locks, Seats, Pop-up Sunroof, Sport Rims, 3800 engine!! It would almost be a dream come true! This car has been sitting just 7 minutes from my house for over 5 years I'd say. Any tips, pros and cons on the 3800? The engine in it isn't original, and it's only been installed not hooked up. It does need a little bit of body work too, so I'm thinking of offering him $800 for it. I'll replace the motor in mine and try to sell it for $1000.
Thanks CRC
I've got pictures but I can't figure out how to get them on right now, I'm going to try and figure it out |

Congratulations on a great find!... Those coupes are damn sexy...
I may be wrong, but wasn't '87 the last year for the GT, and '88 being the first year for International Series? I also read that the coupe was the first of the Ciera models to do the name change for the trim package.
I've experienced crappy 3800's and good to fair ones. |
