have 1999 silhoutte
issue blower will not work in positions 1,2,3 but works in positiions 4/5
checked the fuses (pass side door dash area), looked good
heater nows blows cold air when idiling hot when driving,
fluid level is good
hoses to heater core are warm not hot
its negitive 35 out and cant spend much time under the hood (no garage) :(

| are your controls digital or analog?? (knob type)? if there analog ive seen the switch itself go bad due to the copper switch inside of it wearing downand eventually no making any contact thus not working except in in highest setting.... |

which relay behind the glove box controls the blower
reason: lost the high setting only, blows on #4
location of hot/cold mixer valve (pics would help) |

Sounds like the blower resistor needs to be replaced.

Resistor part number is 89019101
Number 11 in the picture.
NAPA
I'm guessing you're blower motor is under the dash...remove the carpet panel on the passenger side, the blower resistor should be right next to the motor.
