Would it be possible to add a turbo to a 307 engine if so which one.

anything is possible...however, to install a turbo you'd have to do some custom exhaust work, as well as engine work, to get the full benefit of the turbo. Also, if you wanted to install a turbo, I'd seriously consider swapping to a 350, rather than keeping the 307. If you'd swap to a 350, you could do several performance mods, and probably wouldn't even NEED a turbo, let alone the fact that there would be alot of money invested in fabrication costs...

I would have to agree with stroke on this. While it would be cool, do you have the money for something like this, it would probably cost close to 5,000 to do everything right.

also, gonna need some fuel injection too, running a turbo with a carb is almost impossible.

Yeah, with a carb, you'd have to do all your regulation via vacuum. That wouldnt be very reliable in my books?

You can run a turbo into a carb, you just have to increase your fuel pressure so the fuel doesn't get pumped about into the tank. The early Turbo reagals ran that way.

correct me if i'm wrong, but early turbo regals were not exactly fireballs when it came to performance.
