Well, I've been eyeballing heated wiper blades, heated washer fluid heaters, and whatever to help get through the winter.
I decided to purchase a Rostra Safe-Vue Heated Washer Fluid System, pretty cheap compared to the HotShot which sells for about $150, and this system usually sells for about $120.
I just got done with the installation. Took a while, had to figure out a spot to mount it. Hooking up the hoses was pretty easy, didn't even have to cut the stock hose--it had a spot right there to disconnect it, worked out great. The wiring was the hardest part...I couldn't find any large gauge switched ignition 12+ wires, so I had to use a relay and hook it up to one of the small gauge "pink" wires behind the under hood fuse panel. Seemed like all of the pink ones were switched, and there were a lot of them.

Please excuse the dirty engine compartment, it definitely needs a cleaning.
I'm pretty happy with the results...looks almost stock... :lol:
Haven't really tried it out to deice the windshield yet, but I did try it on a clean windshield and it was fun watching the steam come from the wipers... :rock:
