| Well, actually I did disconnect it the other day and drove around for a couple of hours and didn't notice any problems. If this was the case could I expect the same with a aftermarket manifold with no EGR provision? |

Yes you can.
Changing the intake will require you to re-adjust your carburetor, and you will want to make sure that you don't have any spark knock. I don't think at 15 degrees you will have a problem, but every engines tunes a little differently. |
