Hey there, decided to come by and post instead of just prowling. I'm from the Edmonton, Alberta area but living in Arkansas right now for a few more months finishing school. My 1992 Olds 88 Royale is with me here and has made the 2500 mile trek back and forth from Edmonton 5 times now.
We've had this car since 1995 in my family and it has been mine since 2005. It's about to cross 334,000kms and had 279,000km with I got it in 2005.
She's my baby but she's sure cost me some $$. Most of the problems were the result of one bad mechanic though... trying to fix the A/C (turned out that it just needed a new compressor) he managed wreck the entire A/C assembly, the whole alternator assembly, and one of the belts.
Other than that and some other routine maintenance (brakes, etc), she has held up admirably. The 3800 is amazing. |
