|
|
| Was wondering if any one ever daisy chained air compressors or had one feeding another. I just picked up another one so now i have a 6-gallon 150 PSI 2.9 SCFM @ 90psi and a 8 gallon 115psi 4.9SCFM @90 psi air compressor, I wouldnt to join the two @ 45PSI and have a "14 gallon" capacity and "8 SCFM" operating pressure. Is this possible? , i If any one could chime in i'd appreciate it. |

| im not sure what your asking? my shop has two seperate compressors.. they dont feed one another but they push air through the same lines... with the right fittings couldnt you just connect them both to one air hose? I dont think you will gain any pressure but you will gain capacity. |

| yea you have the right idea, do they use check valves or anything to feed the same line? |

| I believe you would just use a standard "t" fitting, and then run your regulator after the "t" to regulate your 45 psi. Depending on how fast your compressor recovers, one compressor may run more than the other, or one may not run at all. |

| yea i tried The T-fitting one fed another and overfilled it, I believe i need a check valve for either compressor before the "t", |

Makes about as much sense as, feeding a T35 turbo to a T25 and expecting 1000HP.

OK. Two compressors and and two tanks.

Connect the two tanks with one hose or pipe then set both regulators at 45#.

Is 7.8 close enough?
