At least in Iowa, only certain colors (Of any light device) are legal to use while driving, and the physical bulb cannot be showing. I guess we have already established you don't care if your car is legal though- I'd avoid blue, red, and white, since those are emergency colors, and will be a cop magnet if you run them.
At least in Iowa, you can have the red, blue and white ones installed, but you can only use them while parked.
They are bright. I have never installed them on any car, but I have physically handled them, and it seems that they might be a bit fragile for daily driver use. I have seen plenty of broken ones on rice-'rockets' around here, so I assume I am correct in thinking that they aren't that strong.
Worth it? That's up to you I suppose. The ricer crowd likes em', but I never bought into their "style".
Personally, I don't think they'd look very good on a Toro, but that's my opinion- |

| I had blue underglow on a few of my cars, the cops diddnt pay much mind. I live in connecticut, needless to say they broke open and no longer worked so i took them off. if done right, and you think it looks good. go for it. autozone and advanced auto sells generic brand replacement tubes for cheap. |

LED bars are a lot more "heavy duty" than the neons, but I wouldn't put either on my car...

| I'd wouldn't install under body neons on any of my cars but, if I did they would go on a show car. Not a DD. |
