i put a deposit down on a new car today, not oldsmobile. but GM nonetheless.

'95 Saturn SL2, twin cam 16 Valve, four cylinder, 5 speed

the body actually reminds me of some of the 90s cutlass'.

check it out and let me know what you think.

oh boyyyy..... i've been driving the olds the last couple days because the saturn has already shit the bed... replaced the starter the SECOND day i owned it, then the rear main seal blew out the FITH day i had it, it took a week for my mechanic to "repair" it, new seal, clutch kit ect ect.. and then it blew out again right after he pulled it out of the garage, reason being that the crankshaft is FUBAR..

i guess thats what i get for buying my cars "as is"

shoulda invested my money into the olds :(

ive driven the saturn maybe 10 times, and i've already put $1900 into it. soooo pissed....

Hey guys! Its been awhile since i've chimed in. I wanted to let you guys know that the oldsmobile never got parted out. I actually gave it away to sombody in need of a vehicle.

Since my last post here the saturn burned oil for a few months until i eventually bent a valve while merging onto the highway. Ran it on three cylinders for a few more months and decscided i better trade it in before it no longer ran.... i actually got $1000 for it! haha.
but enough talk. heres some pics of the new whip. 8-)

Vibrant Blue 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8S, 5 speed. I bought it in july and have been slowly modifying it since. Sorry its so dirty.

I love this car, i bought it with 43000 on it, put 10k on it already with ZERO PROBLEMS.

So far its pretty much stock probably 120 horsepower. except the visual things. Upper + lower billets, fart cannon muffler and "system" haha, i also have a cold air intake, 17" HPD wheels for summer and 15" Toyo Observe GO2's for the winter, Waiting for the eibach pro kit, KYB GR2 struts, megan racing upper strut bar, front+rear nismo sway bars and SER Black headlight housings to come in the mail. I Love this car!

The saturn a month before i traded it in, with well over 2K invested.

And of course the Oldsmobile that was donated, After thinking about all the hard work put into it I really do miss it! But i guess thats life...

So anyways, who here even remembers me?

nice :D Glad to see you went 5 speed

Mine is the QG18DE 5speed.. base model but it doesnt have the pre-cat/butterfly screw issues like the QR25DE does in the SE-R. I guess those motors have been sucking the screws for the "butterflys" out of the intake manifold into the cylinders.

Its sad that none of you remember me lol my first two cars were oldsmobiles

Honestly, I don't think it would get out of it's own way if it was an automatic. I live in a rural area so a standard transmission is great. I used to hate them but I love a standard now.

PS: I do remember you too.

Whats up fellas, im back! lol. My girlfriends EJ22 Legacy has developed a head gasket leak so i bought a 86 Delta 88 2 door for her to drive while i fix it.. it ran fine for a week but now its not starting... i think its in need of a fuel pump. Im not hearing it prime when i turn the key. its maroon/red and has 125K original on it. its pretty rusted up but nothing that cant be fixed... Anyhow... i'll post pictures of it when i get it home (its stranded at a friends house). I will be back and forth to this forum alot more now while fixing it up.

as far as my vehicle goes, im still driving the sentra, and getting more involved on the Sentra forums and the tuner community here in new england.

Heres some updated pictures, please excuse the previous ones lol it's came a long way since then.

I would have personally left the stock pedals on and not put on that steering wheel cover. Person thing, but I just can't stand them :x
