| hey guys my name is ,syph and im from the motor city,Detroit MI.I have a 1972 cutlass supreme with a 350 in it,i just got it recently,after the car not being driven for 20 years or started for 10 ,i did some little maintence to it and she started right up,now comes the test.i also have a 68 Delta 88,motore and trans,the motor being a 455,is it worth it to put that motor in the olds and make myself one really mean car,or shoould i keep the 350 in it and just beef that up.i need some help with this descision.my buddy keeps trying to pawn off this 455 on me and i dont think it is the smart thing to do.Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated,thank you |

HI syph,
Welcome to TOC.
Except for the bore and stroke, the 350 and 455 are essentially the same engine and, with some minor exceptions, are fully interchangeable.
Because of its larger displacement the 455 puts out more power, but uses more fuel to make that power.
The choice is yours.
