After i created my homemade intake with parts from websites and pepboys i properly installed it with the proper sensors but my car is throwing a service engine soon light and i was wondering if anyone could help me solve the probelm... or it could possibly be due to my custom exhaust which is the original cat. but no resnator or mufflers just straight back daul exhaust...flowmaster thanks i need help i am trying to get ready to sell car

Well, first, welcome to the forum.

Have you had it scanned yet? What code is it throwing...?

Aftermarket exhaust sounds like it should be okay since you didn't mess with the catalytic converter. Although it could very well have nothing to do with the mods...have the car scanned.

Could be your intake temperature sensor isn't connected right, or the MAF sensor is too close to the throttle body. Hard to say without seeing a picture.

Go to Autozone and get it scanned. They'll scan it for free.

Now, do you have a Service Engine soon light, or Service vehicle soon light? If it's the SVS light, then that's electrical. Check your fuses!
