My TH350 has 17 Drive Teeth and 34 Driven Teeth. 34 is the lowest you can go and in order to get the speedometer to read faster it needs less teeth. Since I need a 31 tooth driven gear and opening up the transmission is not an option as it will take too long, what are the alternatives to fix my speedometer problem?
I know about Ratio Adapters and that isn't really the path I want to go, but if there aren't any other options I will of course just take that path.
Please help. :D |

As did all the factories. From the seventies on, they were not uncommon. The lack of one on you car, might explain your "problem".

Based on the information given, smaller tires are your only alternative.
