well i might be getting rid of the Delta within the next year. probably gonna buy my mom's car from her, 98 Grand Prix GT 2 door. wish it was a GTP but i can deal. she wants to get a Chrysler Pacifica. so all the stereo would come out of my car and go into the GP. my car is getting pretty tired, 273,000 miles, and lately i have been getting terrible mileage and it has no power at all on the highway. last tank was 16mpg. i think it might be the winter gas, i guess i have to wait till spring to see for sure.
other things that i noticed about the delta that are semi non fixable, bottom of the passengers front door is rotted out, drivers door is not far behind, and i have a new interior water leak (found and fixed one already, now i have a new one).
and the GP is very nice, leather, heads up display, sunroof, Bose system (not that it matters to me) so it'd be a nice change from the Delta.

Sounds like a nice car!
I always liked your delta....don't delete the pics and stuff that you have on sounddomain if you do get it (it's good reference).

Hope you stick around if you get the Pontiac....B and P are always welcome at the OC....lmao

yeah, man... you gotta stick around this place... we still like pontiac people. As long as you dont turn into an import freak or something ;-)

GP's are damn nice... My dad had a 92 grand prix GT with the 3.4 in it, and heads up... Didnt have leather, but the cloth seats had a console in the center that you could adjust about 25 different things on the power seats... I liked that car a lot.

yeah, don't worry i'll be sticking around. when this does happen it will be in april or may. so i have to start planning now how i'm gonna set up the trunk, maybe i'll look on sounddomain and see what other people did. the GP has a 200hp 3800 series 2, plenty of power, although a supercharger would be nice. the body is perfect, not a scratch or a ding on it. i'm gonna have to look into whether or not my Thule roof rack will work on it with the sunroof. I don't want to get rid of it because i don't want to put my snowboard in the trunk, and i have 2 bike carriers too. also the rack itself, fairing, 2 snowboard carriers (can carry 4 boards) and 2 bike carriers cost me around $600, so i am gonna get my money's worth.

another thing, don't worry about me turning into an import freak, i'd never hear the end of it from my father anyway, and i'd rather have a car be fast, than just look fast.

Thats for the entire engine, not just the supercharger. ie.. block, heads, intake, exhaust manifolds, alternator, a/c, power steering,m the whole shabang

And theres nothing wrong with it. it's just how much we sell engines for at my work. if its a 3 cylinder geo metro, 100$, if its a V12 Jaguar *which we have had once* 100$. if its a 1973 olds 455 from a toronado  $100

the whole point of me buying my mom's car is that i know the car's history. i know what has been fixed, what i can expect to fix and how it has been maintained. and besides that, i love driving it. once i get my stereo in it and the windows tinted it will be perfect. although i am gonna miss my steering wheel.

does the GP have all those controls on the steering wheel so that you cant change it? Why not just revert your cars' wheel back to original, and try and work it in somehow? That would just be the icing on the cake :-)

GP's have sooooo many pimping possibilities :-)

well my main concern is that the car has an airbag, i have seen it done putting a non airbag wheel in place of it, but i think i am gonna keep the bag. the steering wheel controls are kind of a moot point considering once i put my head unit in there they won't work anyway and i don't think there is an adapter available for my head unit.
