Hey every one..
I'm a 59 year old retired FORD parts man. I was a Ford parts man for 34 years. In 1971 Ford was the only one hiring. Anyway I've been a OLDS guy since I was a kid.
I'm mostly into drag racing but I do have a couple of projects to do.
I do have time now.......

Hi Gene,

Welcome to TOC. Your reputation precedes you.

There was a Goodguys/'50 Olds "meet within a meet" at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds, during the 80s, I think. Do you remember it?

Sure do... I think you was there also.

There was a '50 coupe (blue I think) with a late model frame under it.
I'm going to do the same. I'm using a '68 vista crusier frame. Same wheel base.

Yep. I'll put up a couple of pix, if I can find them.

More work than I want to do. I look forward to seeing it.

Been looking. Been finding everything, except, what I'm looking for.

This Nor Cal '50, on a 442 chassis, was at the OCA National Meet at Santa Clara, CA.

With the hood closed, the only exterior things wrong, are the wheels and the height.

In the interior, the only change was the quadrant, from (N D Lo R) to (P P R N D 2 !).

Thought about doing the same thing at the time. It's when I thought about the amount of work involved.
