I tried to find a master cylinder cover gasket for my ride...but know one had it...the kept giving me this huge thing that was rectangle, but mine is rounded on one end...did they update it with another master cylinder?

| did you tell them that your car has hydro-boost? that might make a difference. |

| that master cylinder is the same style used by the majority of RWD cars and trucks thru the 70's and early 80's...I'm betting they're giving you the gasket for the newer style plastic reservoir type master cylinder, if its square. Ask them if they have one for a 79 fullsize Chevy truck...the trucks used that same style master cylinder as well... to my knowledge, they never used a plastic reservoir master with hydroboost, only steel. |
