| My dad had a 1986 Ranger regular cab, V6. I was JUNK. After 9 years (and only 30,000 miles due to it being too unreliable to use) he sold it to my uncle (who is a mechanic). Last month, my uncle was driving the truck, and it caught on fire (lmao). He had to jump out and roll while his truck kept going a short distance before it died. Ford quality, you can feel it! |

| My dad had a 99 ranger. It was a piece of crap, only had 20,000 miles on it and the engine was starting to go. He traded it in for his 99 s-10, and it is the best vehicle we have ever had. My ex's 2001 tarus was worse then the truck. It was a bran new car and the battery and alternator went on it. Also there was a 600 dollar repair for the windshield wiper motor. This was all before 1,000 miles! Stay away from fords, except for mustangs! |
