| Yes,the 1st two letters are NW.I'm in NW Washington State, about an hour from the Canadian border,& an hour North of Seattle in the Great Northwest. Its finally starting to warm up-it will be around 65* in Seattle today.I currently own a 1978 Olds Cutlass Supreme, with a '76 Olds 350,TH-350 with minor mods so far of a tranny shift kit,K & N filter,& some extra gauges. It has the Olds stock rally wheels. My other ride at present is a 1979 L-82 Corvette with a TH-350,245/60/15's on 15 x 8's,K & N filter, cam,Dynomax Ceramacoat headers, dual exhaust,Flowmasters, logo mats & carpet protectors,CD/MP3/WMA player(XM compatible,EEQ,CD text,EQ,MS media, remote, etc). The Vette is a replacement for the 77 I had until November, when a 17 yo girl plowed into me head-on at around 50 mph, which totaled the car & almost me,too.I was in the ER for 6 hrs after they peeled me out of the vette,in a neck & a back brace for 6 hrs,& $8750,while they determined if my neck, back,& ribs were broke and to see if there was internal bleeding. Anyway, enough of that, other cars include a '68 Roadrunner,& Sport Sattellite,'70 Dart,"67 Camaro,'77 Camaro,Olds Vista Cruiser,'65 Impala Wagon,'69 Chevy 3/4 truck,'70 GMC 3/4 truck,900 Kawasaki,1100 Suzuki,'76 350SL Honda,'84 450 Susuki..etc. I spent time in the USMC,the Naval Reserve, and the Dept. of Defense.I've lived in or visited Spain,Japan,Britain,Netherlands,France,Portugal,Mexico,Canada,Hawaii,etc..etc.I've lived as much on the East Coast as the West.I was born in Jacksonville. My father was a patriot in the Navy who started as Enlisted, but was killed as a LCDR as a Navy pilot in 'Nam after 30 yrs of decorated service.Heres the memorial site for him---> http://www.virtualwall.org/dm/MartinHC01a.htm If you'd like to see pics of my Cutlass,a wrecked yellow '77 Vette, and the new red '79 Vette, check my meager webpage out,go to pictures..there are 3 pgs..----> www.msnusers.com/cutlasscorvetteworkinprogress P.S. I forgot to mention the Maximus part of the name is actually the name of my 130 lb. Rottweiler/Malamute mix dog. My name is Jon.Thanks..... |

Brando On the Vette? They were already on when I got it,if they didnt look good,I might have gone with a different size/type,but what the heck. The center caps say they're Ultra's.I think eventually I might try a taller wheel,& lower the vette 1/2 to 1".I'm also planning on lowering the Cutlass at least one inch.It will probly be 1st. 8) I'm also in need of fixing the vinyl on the Cutty,& I'm thinking of dark blue to match the body...any thoughts? Thanks for the welcome! |

| Thanks, guys! And girls? I'm hoping to get as much expert advise as possible from you,as I have never had the time,or the people to learn from through the years to have anything but basic knowledge to work on my vehicles. And I am also a fairly new Olds owner,so help is appreciated.-Jon |
