Hello all...
I was just searching around for other people that had Cutlass Ciera's. Found your site thought I woud join. I am a PC tech by trade that is trying to learn more everyday about working on cars. I have a 1995 Olds Cutlass Ciera that is my baby. Well I guess thats about it for now. Not sure what else to say. Check out my car if you like...

Welcome!
How do you like your 95 Olds Ciera?
I'll most likely be getting one soon....just wondering if you've had any problems with it other than the paint...a lot of the GM cars had problems with the paint fading (my delta 88 has it)....

Actually mine is not faded...just a couple spots the paint pealed off near the rear wheels and it got alittle surface rust. I can't find the touch up paint anywhere for this thing so the whole car...as soon as I can afford it...is getting painted black or something like that.i also need to replace the passanger fender...kinda bowed from a previous owner...
I love this car...power everything ...only one thing missing....A FLIPPING TRUNK RELEASE!
I am going to add keyless and a trunk relase myself. Added both to my Chevy Corsica wich i traded in when i was tiredof fixing it little problems. I like this car better anyway. Feels more...heavy...kow what i mean...lke i can feel it was well made when i drive.
Oh I do need to replace he rear springs ro something. When i put 3 people in the back seat the mud flaps would drag going through bumps.. They are off now but i am going to do something about the rear springs give little more strength you know? |

| Welcome to the site, It's nice to see more people represinting the 95 cutlass! :D I agree with you on the lack of a trunk release, and have the same problems with rust on the rear fenders. |

My back fenders have no rust. I have seen Cieras with rust on the doors (mines just starting to get that GM trademark door rust) but not many with the fenders. Maybe its location location location? |

Also, the fact that mine is a four door and 10 years newer......My mom and grandparents have the exact same car as I do and they have rust in the same spot. Also, right around the trunk key hole there is rust, just like every one else with this car in michigan. Gotta love michigan! NOT |

| Here in New England, GM cars rust on the bottom of the doors ( mine is a nickel sizes spot starten on the bottom of the passenger door) and on my car inside of the trunk (luggage rack was loose, water got in the hole that the screw that holed the rack down, and rusted the inside). The guy across the street from me has a 1988 Chevy Eurosport that the doors are rusted up to the belt level trim! |
