I'm just wondering....
How many of you members would be interested in hosting?
If I were to go with a bigger plan, and give a few different plans...like 25MB, 50MB, and 100MB of space and have 250MB, 500MB, and 1GB of bandwidth accordingly, would you be interested in it? It would probably be around $6, $12, and $18 per year as listed. You would get a MySQL database if needed, PHP4, FTP access, and if you wanted anything installed like an Invision Board, phpBB, 4images, some script like that could be pre-installed. If you buy a plan, you can upgrade if you surpass the bandwidth/space limit. There of course will be no hosting of adult stuff...and no huge movie files or music files that will eat up the bandwidth...or else your account would be terminated and no money back. There will be a 15 day money back guarantee though if you're not satisified with the hosting.

This is kind of a big decision...it would mean a change of hosts with a bigger plan, so I need to know if people would actually be interested in this. Oh...and the server would be a Quad Xeon 2.4GHz Processors, 1GB of RAM, 70GB 10RPM Ultra 320 SCSI Hard Drive, 10mbps connection, with Red Hat linux installed....

Your account URL would be www.oldsconnection.com/username
You could use a redirection URL like uni.cc, or I could give you a subdomain, like www.username.oldsconnection.com
I might be able to host domains too...but I don't know about that one...

Let me know...

Update, 25MB is enough space to hold about 433 - 576 x 432 resolution images. Medium Quality.

Oh, and I mentioned before that you can get 4images pre-installed when set up, what 4images is is basically an album program, very much like the one here at TOC, but a little bit more powerful, you could have your very own photo album for your car! DEMO
You can also change the style easily with different templates available.

Let me know if any of your are interested...these prices aren't final, just a guesstimate...
