Had my 1987 into 4 garages and cant solve this problem.Following has been replaced with new parts..fuel filter, fuel pump, crank sensor, iac motor, idle sensor..the car doesnt act up all the time so this is why its so hard to pin point but sometimes at a stop in idle it will stall..also sometimes hard to start after but not always..no codes showing up and the car runs great on highway..could the ignition module be causing this or the throttle sensor? any ideas would be very welcome

I replied to your other post, but on the topic of TPS sensors, you would definately get a code if your TPS voltage was low enough to stall the vehicle. The code would send the ECM into open loop, kicking the idle up to more like 1500RPM, making a stall impossible. And you say the car is fine on the highway, so I would say the TPS is in good repair. But you can check it with a multimeter, to ensure the voltage is above .25V at idle, if you are wanting verification.

Could be as simple as a dirty TB or dirty IAC valve passages, after a good cleaning of mine the idle is dead on doesnt surge at all.
