Yea....my car had a trailer hitch....just took it off today! :lol:
Back about 10 years ago, my dad had it put on because a relative had died and we were hauling some stuff back to our house, a 9 hour trip, but my car did it. Damn that was some trip...I was about 5 or 6 years old. A 1987 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale hauling a good size *packed* U-Haul trailer. :shock:

My dad liked to abuse my car (mom's car). He even towed one of his mini vans (Plymouth Voyager) that he had. Just for a short trip...but still :shock:

That thing was an eyesore, looks a lot better now. It was a PITA to get off though. Had to use the air ratchet to get it off, three big bolts holding it in.

I got this cool little brake light thing that I stick in the reciever when I'm not towing anything. it just plugs into the trailer light harness. When I need to move a trailer, I just slide it out and slide the drawbar back in.

Yea...I've seen those before, but a trailer hitch is meant to be on a truck, like yours, not a 4 door sedan! :lol:

Plus, this was the old style, the heads weren't interchangeable.

I like those hitch covers that have the chrome boat propeller that spins with the wind... they look cool.

Beleive it or not, I had a trailer hitch on my 89 ford probe... I am not sure what they wanted to haul with that car...
