| Dont know if this belongs in "suspension",but what are the best performance upgrade pads for my stock brakes that dont produce excessive wear?? Until I can afford the brake package I really want,I'd like the best stopping power available, for mainly just a Street Cruiser. Thanx... |

| After watching several cars go thru the shop, I'd honestly tell you to spend a little more $$$ and go with a ceramic based brake pad. A few reasons for that include little or no brake dust(if you have decent wheels you want to keep clean), slightly less brake fade, and less chance of brake squeal if you tend to get on the brakes a bit hard. I've begun to notice a trend with peoples cars in the fact that they tend to get on the brakes harder then they used to...a semi metallic pad, while long lasting, tends to glaze the surface of the pad and rotor under hard braking, which can cause squealing brakes when they're applied lightly, where a ceramic pad tends not to do that. Just my .02 cents |

Hi nwmaximus, 88Ciera_SC, strokercutlass, Brando, Hi all
I just go to Autozone and get what they have for my application.
That includes both my coupes, which have been known to make repeated stops from in excess of 115 MPH.
As you may have gathered, I don't believe in buying more that I need.
Regards, Norm |

| Honestly, by the price, I'd have to say that the "titanium TI" brake pads are titanium in name only, and are most likely a semi metallic construction.. |
