ive heard several remedies ..well, quick fixes for coolant leaks.. #1. pour some pepper in, not alot..but it should plug any small pin holes (i dont know if this is B.S., it seems like it)...2... someone actually told me to crack an egg and dump it in..........

I have been told the egg thing only works with old metal radiators, not the plastic ones of today.

oh yeah..on this subject of plastic radiators.. you see the little overflow hose at the fill neck that goes to the plastic tank?.. MAKE SURE THAT IS NOT PLUGGED UP! .. this happened on my dads blazer, some sediment caught in there and plugged it..causing the plastic ends on the radiator to split and spray allllll over..

Do a good visual inspection of the engine compartment during the day. Start when the car is cold and as it warms up the pressure will begin to build slowly. Try to find if the leak is at a hose clamp or something, that is easily fixed and self explanatory. If it is indeed the radiator, you might repair it by addind a can of stop leak form Wally World or K-Mart, they are cheaper than auto parts stores usually. Use something like BarsLeak, or Prestone makes a product too. Remember though, that stuff behaves like sediment in you coolant system and if it repairs a leak it may also clogg up your coolant system a little. Down side to everything man.....
