Been looking at this site for a week or two and I just registered here today. Site looks pretty cool! Anyways I am looking forward to posting on here and will try to be as helpful and informative as I possibly can. My first car was a 1995 Cutty Ciera SL which was bought used with about 40~ something thousand miles on her when I was 17. Now I'm 21 and I have since sold the car back to my dad. It's got over 106k miles on it at this point and it's still running stong even though it has survived an accident some 10k miles ago and alot of abuse in between when I first put the key in the ignition of the thing some four years ago. Although I'm driving a black on black 2000 Mustang GT 5-Spd now, The Cutlass still sees some action on the streets from time to time and will in fact be driven back up north to Minnesota this summer. Even though I drive a Stang now, I still have GREAT respect for the Cutty as it has been a real workhorse over the years...

Thanks Man! Fact of the matter is that I got really lucky when the accident occured and the little Geo that hit the Cutty missed the wheel, axle, etc.. by inches and just took out the rear quarter panel instead, So it was all really a matter of body work on that quarter panel to deal with after the collision. Otherwise the car would've seen the JY shortly thereafter! |
